Insider Tours enables FEM to operate independently, staying away from swaying political agendas and corrupt funding practices
Cartagena Insider by FEMBy working closely with the communities we team up with, we developed a unique series of activities that go beyond the obvious “city tour” that tourists typically experience in Cartagena. Cartagena Insider offers a tourist alternative based in cultural and sustainable tourism, which enables our visitors to discover the lesser-known and more authentic Cartagena experience by connecting with actual locals.
If you’re interested in uncovering the best-kept secrets of Cartagena and seek unique experiences you won’t find elsewhere, these tours are for you. In addition, every ticket sold goes towards our community projects that helps benefit the very locals you’ll be on the tours with! |
Success story! CAFE STEPPING STONEIn 2017, we met Vanessa, Tom and Hannah, 3 Australian social entrepreneurs who wanted to create a Cafe in Cartagena to encourage vulnerable youth to get a forst formal hire and thus improve the quality of their employment for the rest of their life. That was how Cafe Stepping Stone appeared in Cartagena. And it also became our first successful Spinoff this year. We were sad to see them go, but once breakeven point was reached, we fulfilled our incubation process, and we saw them fly out of the nest! Now we are partners in many projects to make Cartagena a better place for everyone.
